EFS has evolved to being an industry de-facto standard. Over 3 decades, EFS has supplied dynamic response flowmeters for diesel, direct gas injection fuel systems and now urea injection. Per shot measurements provide not just engineering insight, but also fast production line testing.
The IFR is the 4th generation high pressure, shot to shot flowmeter EFS has designed. Specifically designed for today’s high injection pressure, multi-injection environment, this meter offers simultaneous rate and mass measurement that provides a program payback – shorter program development test time.

For Urea, Gasoline and other injection rate and mass measurements
Providing excellent accuracy and repeatability, the Model 8269 LPF measures shot mass and rate for a multi-injection/cycle environment with low back pressure.
Designed for injectors with no return flow, many find the all inclusive rail pressure and injector timing controls to greatly improve the simplicity of a test bench and to reduce costs.
Designed to operate injectors at operating speed, a wide range of shot-to-shot mass flow and rate measurement are acquired and stored for complete statistical set review or further individual shot analysis.

With thousands of flowmeters on R&D and production test stands around the world, the MIQ and EMI2 flowmeters today provide accurate, repeatable shot-to-shot mass and injector delay measurement for diesel, gasoline and urea injectors. The real-time control capability includes data capture and injector timing control signals through the software interface or front panel setup.
