Conditioning Modules
The M1000 accepts sensor inputs and provides amplification for most of today’s test requirements. This is accomplished with a standard set of input and output modules. Modules are compatible with laboratory and portable chassis or the new M4000 field data acquisition PC to minimize investments in equipment and training while maximizing use. Modules are available for LVDT, RVDT, strain gage, synchro or resolver, thermocouple, RTD, potentiometer, piezo resistive accelerometer or pressure transducer, encoder and other types of frequency inputs, etc. High voltage input and cold junction are provided optionally. Amplifiers are available to provide gain or attenuation, RMS and isolation. Most modules will provide dual separately adjustable outputs of voltage or current.

M1060 High Gain DC Amplifier
Differential amplifier for use with most types of low level transducers (strain gage, load cells, etc.). Fine gain control is provided up to 2000.

M1064 Wide Bandwidth Gain Amplifier
Differential amplifier for use with wide bandwidth, dynamic sensors and signals. Offers wide zero control range making this module an excellent choice for piezo resistive and other sensors requiring this.

M1060 Thermocouple Amplifier
For use with thermocouples and similar low level sensors. Adjustable cold junction sensitivity. Full scale output for 1 mV to 100 mV input. The optional M1061/R Reference Connector provides a cold junction.

M1080 Frequency/DC Converter
For use with turbine flowmeters, rpm, speed angular position pickups and sensors, this pulse to signal converter offers adjustable ranges, input signal conditioning and input voltage ranges up to 250V when used with the optional C103 or C104 high voltage input connector.

M1070 Attenuator/Amplifier
General purpose differential input module for medium to high level signal inputs (potentiometric sensor inputs, LVDT/RVDT, servo accelerometer, general attenuation or amplification needs). Offers sensor excitation and fine gain or attenuation control over +/-2 decades.

M1079 Isolated Attenuator/Amplifier
Similar to the M1070 with the addition of galvanic isolation

M1049 Carrier Amplifier
Carrier Amplifier (Oscillator/Amplifier-Demod/Filter) for use with variable reluctance, piezo resistive and torque transducers, LVDT/RVDT, and strain gage based sensors.

M1043 Synchro/DC Converter
Provides a DC output signal proportional to synchro or resolver angular position inputs. Applications include CNC machine tools, gyros, radar position. C103 or C104 High Voltage Input Connector Expands the module voltage input range to 250V.

Customized Conditioning
Over many years, we have built up a library of custom 'specials', many of which can be tailored to individual requirements. Alternatively, we are always happy to look at non-standard signal conditioning, if a standard amplifier is not available.
